Appointments are available all day. Please phone 0345 337 9933 for surgery times of individual doctors and clinics run by our nurses.

Please telephone before NOON if possible for an appointment. You may consult with any of the doctors. This way, you can have the greatest choice of appointment time.

Emergency Cases: Any emergency case will always be seen the same day.

Test Results are available after 2pm.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone the practice on 0345 337 9933 to cancel your appointment.

This is underatken by the Community Midwife based at Chalmers Hosptial Banff. Clinic held within the practice on Tuesday.

Family Planning

Family Planning counselling, Implant and Coil fitting and removal appointments available by arrangement

Drug Abuse Services

The GPs of the practice refer all patients for the monitoring of their care to the substance misuse service. 

Emergency Contraception

If you are over 16 years you can attend the casualty department at any time or alternatively make an appointment to see a GP.  This is also available from local chemists at no charge to you.

Minor Surgery

All doctors can perform some minor surgical procedures eg. cyst removal, joint injection,  etc.  Please see your doctor for assessment.

Cervical Smears

When all woman between the ages of 25-50 should have a cervical smear every 3 years.  All women over 50 - 64 years should have a cervical smear every 5 years.  A practice nurse or female partner if preferred can do this.  Please contact the office staff for an appointment. 

Children Immunisations

Your health visitor will be happy to advise when these are due.  Please phone the surgery to arrange Immunisation appointment on 0345 337 9933

These are the 1st Friday of each month at Bridge Street Community Centre from 2 - 4 pm and Tuesdays (term time only) Macduff Community Centre at Macduff Primary from 10 - 11 am.


Podiatry service (formerly known as chiropody) is available to those eligible by contacting the appointments clerk at Chalmers Hospital - 819128.

Social Services

Help with all kinds of social problems. This includes Home Care Organiser, Meals on Wheels and Home Help Services. Telephone – 812001.
