When the Surgery is Closed:
After normal surgery hours, emergency medical cover is provided by NHS24 and GMED.
If you have an urgent medical problem when the surgery is closed please ring 111.
A health professional is always available for advice, or you may be asked to attend the Primary Care Centre at Chalmers Hospital, Banff or Turriff Hospital. If you are too seriously ill to travel, a doctor will visit you at home.
In an emergency situation i.e. vomiting blood, acute chest pain, severe breathlessness, dial 999 immediately. The GP's are no longer responsible in providing out of hours care for their patients.

Accidents and Injuries
Any injuries or cuts can be seen at the Casualty Department at Chalmers Hospital, Banff if they have occurred in the last 48 hours. Urgent cases will be assessed immediately by a specially trained nurse and will be seen by a doctor if required.
